Lets modify the example a bit to make the problem more explicit. 

1. Open Writer
2. Table -> Insert Table
3. Pick Box List Blue
4. Table -> Insert Table
5. Pick Box List Red

I would expect table formatted blue boxed as outer table, with a red box List
formatted table within.

Why is the current result wrong? The outer table being reformatted, when
inserting a new table within. The dialog is about defining the formatting for
the inserted table, not for formatting outside that scope (outer table)
