Implementing autodetection only for “English” or for a fixed set of symbols is simply wrong. Another concrete example: put 3 into A1, 4 into A2, and =A1/A2 into A3. You get 1.3333. I get 1,33333. Why? Because LibreOffice correctly handles locales everywhere else. This code path ignores locale handling, and that is exactly the bug I am reporting. This is not an isolated issue, and more bug reports will inevitably follow.
