Upgraded Boost to 1.55 and build goes on. I also solved the next issue: xmlsec could not configure because of no crypto lib detected. LO's configure.ac checks for AX_BOOST_BASE(1.47) and then does some AC_CHECK_HEADER and more specific AC_COMPILE_IFELSE checks, but that's apparently not precise enough to catch the problem you experience.
