I thought about a step by step/commit by commit process to change getFiles, and if necessary getSelectedFiles first, then unwinding each use of getFiles and submit a patch for each one.

        It'd be nice to switch all 'getFiles' for the above, and ensure that we
are not using getFiles for the impl. of getSelectedFiles ;-) is that
possible ?
Isn't it the same as unwinding each case?
