Is the oDoc = StarDesktop.loadComponentFromURL still valid in 5.0 ?

I am calling it in my macro and getting an error about the URL parameter which is "file:///tmp/file.ptt" so seems as though the file URL is OK and the file is present.
wild guess file.ppt not ptt which is an unknown format ?
The error is BASIC runtime... "type detection failed."
