That turned out to be the case because Mac Jenkins Gerrit builds are done on a box with an older toolchain than Mac Jenkins tinderbox builds.

That turned out to be due to the tinderbox page apparently not necessarily displaying /every/ build, but only operating at a granularity of something like 10 min.
