Hello,
Since Collabora uses its own git repo
https://gerrit.collaboraoffice.com/q/status:open+-is:wip (cf my previous
post
https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice/2026-May/094564.html)
and has some useful commits on it (eg : fix leaks like
https://gerrit.collaboraoffice.com/c/online/+/1928 or crash fixes like
https://gerrit.collaboraoffice.com/c/online/+/2017), can we legally
cherry-pick their commits on LO?
If yes, is there a "right way" to do it? I mean, the credits of
Collabora devs should stay on the cherry-picks obviously.
Remark : have in mind that for the moment, since their repo is recent,
it should be technically quite straightforward to cherry-pick these
types of commits but with the time, as both projects will diverge, it'll
be more and more difficult.
