Apparently gnu++0x is no longer recognized as a synonym of gnu++11.
There are several references in the error log to features "only
available with -std=c++11 or -std=gnu++11".

did the trick. It was activated during the configure, but deactivated
during compilation.
Not sure if i should commit that?
