All, I wanted to give you a heads-up that I've decided to take a shot at creating a gcc wrapper for MSVC. (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/Gsoc/Ideas#Gcc_like_wrapper_for_MSC_on_cygwin_and_autotools_compatibility )
