I don't know in the US, but in France I have had to choose carefully the computer brand and reseller in order to successfully request a refund ; even if it's illegal (but tolerated) to combine the purchase of software with the hardware, very few constructors/resellers accept to take this step. After choosing the computer with that criteria in mind, I contacted the constructor (Acer) and asked them to refund the license. I had to send them back the computer for them to format the hard drive, and after a few weeks I got a clean computer (and my money) back ! It is a tough process but I wish you luck! ;) -- Félicien Pillot https://atelier.informatiquelibre.fr 2C7C ACC0 FBDB ADBA E7BC 50D9 043C D143 6C87 9372 felic...@gnu.org - felicien.pil...@riseup.net
