Hello, I wrote a CC-licensed book on software architecture, expecting that the free license would help spread it. Instead, it locked me out of commercial publishers, while I neither found large FOSS communities to share it with, nor succeeded with P2P promotion. What I need: * Any help promoting the book. * Critical feedback. What's inside: * A high-level overview of a couple hundred architectural patterns. * A (hopefully) intuitive classification of software and system architectures. The book is available on: GitHub [1]https://github.com/denyspoltorak/publications/tree/main/Architectura lMetapatterns Leanpub [2]https://leanpub.com/metapatterns Thanks in advance, DenysReferences 1. https://github.com/denyspoltorak/publications/tree/main/ArchitecturalMetapatterns 2. https://leanpub.com/metapatterns
HiWould https://www.lulu.com/ fit the bill here, they can print / send books on demand, which may be better you still get paid for each copy sold. I know they handle this for the LibreOffice Manuals.
In the mean time I am happy to put a link to the book on my blog, even though I think the subject matter is a little above me.
Just a thought, Paul
