Well, that's why there is so much malhacking (my own term, to
differentiate
from white-hat testing and ordinary programming); the people who came up with
the RFCs for email, html, and other protocols didn't bother to think about
the bad things that could happen (and still happen with new protocols), so we
spend a significant amount of time and code blocking all of those bad things
because those RFCs are chiseled in stone and can't be replaced with secure
ones. So, sure, don't think of the bad things and they won't hurt you. :-P
