I use a fairly worn pad because I find the ones that came with my Lib
70 wear down to the same point in less than a week - so it seems
pointless to replace them. The ones that came with my Lib 30 (I
haven't checked whether they would also fit the 70) are a slightly
different shape (instead of simply having a flat surface, they stick
up in the middle) and the abrasive surface seems much more durable.
