Subject: 12+20Gb HDDs incompatible with Libretto!?!
According to Toshiba here in Malaysia, the 12Gb and 20Gb hard drives are
incompatible with all Libretto models - they say these bigger drives are
"too fast" for the Libretto motherboard, and that it's a "known issue" which
leads to data corruption/loss. They don't preclude HDD upgrades altogether
though - apparently the 6Gb drives *are* compatible.
Anyone else heard this?
Any thoughts, suggestions, comments... workarounds, even?
I was about to spring for a 20GB...
