Subject: Libretto 110 Screen Failure

Hi Everyone,

I've had my 110CT for about a year now (an ex-demo model) and the other
night the screen died on me :-( The power LED was blinking orange so my
initial thought was that it had gone into suspend mode but when I pressed
the power button the screen remained blank. I shut down Windows 98 (not easy
when you're doing it blind). When I rebooted the computer beeped and loaded
Windows as normal but the screen remained blank thoughout the process.

The next morning I switched the machine on and the screen worked for a few
minutes before the same thing happened. Luckily the hard drive is shared so
I can access the system on my network but as things stand I can't use it on
the move :-(

Can anyone suggest a solution I can attempt or failing that somewhere in
the UK that might be able to fix it (and an idea of what that might cost).

        Thanks in advance.

Pete
