For our UK brethren,
I came across a company http://www.battery.co.uk/home.htm based in the UK
and had a most informative chat with the guy there. I also got a 10%
discount for the group for telling him I'd post his prices, so here they
are:
PA2497U/2252UR (50/70) £58.50
PA2498U (50/70 extended) £81
PA2502U (100/110) £58.50
PA2503U (extended) £81
All prices should have VAT and P&P added.
These guys can also rebuild battery packs - but *not* LiIon types, which
dischuffs them immensely...apparently there are differences between the
manufacturers cells which cause all sorts of nasties, and their first ten
attempts had eight failures...however they will sell cells if you ask them
very nicely.
(She sells 'C' cells on the sea shore?)
