The cannonical answer:

'$DESCRIPTOR' = an optional indicator, e.g. special event, time of year,
nature of meeting etc.

'$BEER' = any beverage, alcholic or otherwise, to the taste of the
individual member. Also includes food, if desired.

'$LOCATION' = a variable defining the location in which $BEER is transferred
from the outside of a $CLUB member to the inside of a $CLUB member.

'$CLUB' = a grouping of (usually) living beings, sentient or otherwise.
Membership of $CLUB is strictly restricted to people who either
o own any member of the species $LIBRETTO
o have previously owned a member of the species $LIBRETTO but for some
perverse reason no longer do so
o would like to own a member of the species $LIBRETTO
o once saw a picture of a member of the species $LIBRETTO and think it's
rather a cool device

Therefore, semantically, 'long island beer club' = 'permanent floating beer
club' = 'london xmas beer club' = 'paris wine club' = 'ozzie throw another
prawn on the barbie club'

Ok?
