I've been tempted a few times to consider one of the Win'CE palm devices
that will accept a PCcard - perfect for transfering images from a media card
to a 5GB Toshiba PCcard HDD. But so far I've resisted.

Me too - I'm doing the same, backpacking with a Libretto and a digital
camera. Sometimes my backpack is on top of the bus and it rains, monsoon
style... other times I've seen it from a distance as it's being unloaded
from a boat or plane by the baggage handlers who invariably toss everything,
even if it takes two people to do the tossing.

Good idea! But it looks like none of them are big enough to fit a Libretto
in (210mm or 8.1/4" for my 110)
