If I come up against these sorts of things I generally take an image using Norton Ghost (I run it overnight going through the parallel port since I don't have a drive converter) then do the install, if it all goes to hell I just restore the ghost image. For that matter, I've got a baseline image for my Libby anyway, if it goes to hell for whatever reason I just reimage it and its fine. If you were to ghost a Libretto drive I'd recommend you either only ghost a partition or you do a forensic image (use the -id switch) to make sure the hibernation area doesn't get disturbed. - Raymond ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
