Now I forget whether or not an ISO image is one big file or not.  It is 
isn't it?  And CD burning software extracts the componets and burns them to 
a CD... right?

advantage to booting from the Mandrake installation CD over just having the 
installation files on the HDD, and running the installation from there.

Wonder what that may be.
