Oh ya that reminds me ... if you're desperate to get the data off that hard drive, you
CAN put it into a desktop and ghost the individual partitions THEN blow it all away
with EZ-Bios. After that, put it back into your desktop (or leave it in your desktop
to install EZ-Bios) and MAKE DAMN SURE YOUR DESKTOP BOOTS FROM THE HARD DRIVE FIRST!
(then do the ctrl thing). This gets tricky if you were intending to boot your
desktop's OS to get access to the rest of the stuff ... I ended up bootsec'ing my
desktop's boot sector and putting it as an entry on my laptop harddrive's NTLDR (I use
ntldr to boot Win95 and Linux on my laptop).

Actually what I ended up getting was 1.5 copies of the partition table (refer my
earlier rant on the issue!). Needless to say the hard drive was practically hosed (I
WAS able to ghost my main partition off though).

Doubt it ... ghost and format seems to be the 'kindest' way ... heh
