im pretty new to ownership and have tried Win ME, win 95 and win 98 so far. Luckily I have 2 HDD, one with ME and one with 98 so i can check the speed quite quickly. Both ME and 98 are acceptable to me. I'm getting a 32Mb upgrade tomorrow so i might try win2k once its done. I started to load it but decided against it > thinking it would be heavy on resources. Its running on this one here with only 32Mb on a 100CT at 266MHz. Fairly slow now. One problem is that the sound doesnt seem to work. I have tried both the standard W2K drivers and the special Toshiba ones yet the sound under W2K is still broken. If a sound is played, it will play constantly and rapidly. Hibernation just brings back the sound playing on resuming :) It might well drive me to remove W2K if I cannot fix it.
