Eh, nothing special. They've had portable super-mini desktop PCs for years --
there was that recent one, forget the name, which is the size of just the CD-RW
drive itself and maybe just a little more than an inch high with built-in 1Ghz
PIII and everything except the LCD screen. Tossing a small LCD monitor
together with that would be the same as the OQO to a degree, but with built-in
CD-RW capability.

How small you can get isn't that big of a deal today -- you can easily hook up
a microLCD heads-up display panel to any VGA out today, then shrink everything
down accordingly. Could probably get the Libretto to half it's size today if
they wanted it with a mini-chicklet keyboard in there as well.

But realistically, at some point, everything becomes too small to be useful as
a laptop, and you start calling it a portable cellphone or PDA instead. Plus,
typing in anything will go at a snail's pace.

Myself, I'd vote for something the same size as the current L110 model, but 1/2
as thick, half as heavy, faster, longer battery life, and with an edge-to-edge
screen. Maybe even add an optional dock underneath for the CD-RW option
(something I wish they had).

A super-tiny portable desktop PC - anyone can make one, but it ain't too
useful. A super-light, super-thin, decently sized mini-notebook? Now that's useful.
