(Lib 50CT)

Old distributions: Slackware 3.6, 4.0
Installation method: Copy media to FAT partition, copy root image to
spare tiny partition, boot from floppy and point root=
at tiny root partition, then install from HD.
                        [windows wiped afterwards]
Disk: Tosh 810Mb, Linux only.

Killed off Slackware after they gave an utterly broken compile of gcc
which seemed to randomly segfault (it was _not_ a hardware problem, as it
had worked fine previously and has worked fine ever since I replaced the gcc
and kernel packages with ones I compiled myself).

Current distro: Home-brew :)
Installation method: As above, until I finally get around to making boot
                        floppies for the Lib.
Disk: IBM 20Gb, Linux only.

IR: No FIR on Lib50, but SIR works with mobile phones (Nokia 7110, 8250).
PCMCIA: Various LAN 10Mbps and 10/100Mbps non-cardbus cards tested ok.
X: XFree86 3.3.6 used at the moment. Not sure if 4.x will work on
the 50, after previous early 4.x versions wouldn't.
Sound: Using opl3 driver, works fine.
