Yes please - I'm considering ripping a dead 50 battery to bits for the
'socket' and a dead mobo for a 'plug' to make an adaptor cable so I can use
the portege long-life (5000mA/hr!) battery with the lib...I've had 8 hours
on the portege with it, and it's four times the normal 50/70 battery
capacity :)

I have a *feeling* that the only significant connections for powering the
lib are the ones at opposite ends - ie the + and -; I think the others are
only used to charge the beast, except maybe one with the state of charge
info data?

Neil
