Subject: HELP!! on my Libretto 50CT battery

Hi!
I have a Libretto 50CT whose battery went dead 5 days ago. I was able to
buy 2nd hand(refurbished) batteries from a previous Libretto 70CT owner
whose unit conked out after a 4 feet drop. I tried the 70CT batteries on my
unit and turned it on and it worked just fine!! Happily I went home, and
cleaned the 3 batteries I bought. However, while wiping it and on close
inspection, I found on the inscriptions on the battery, the following
message....!! "Caution" Do not dispose of in fire.......Do not directly
connect(short circuit)....Do not use other battery chargers......Do not use
with Libretto 50CT!!!!
<snip>

Hmm ... I've seen this on the L100/110 batteries but not on the 2 L70 batteries I purchased for what was my L50 (and which work beautifully) ...

I'd say they'd be fine ... heck you can grind back the plastic on an L50/70 extended battery and use it in an L100/110!
