Setiathome (setiathome.ssl.berkely.edu) will test the processor *most* thoroughly :) 100% utilisation if it can, with disc access every couple of seconds, usually. If you can crunch a couple of units withought a thermal shutdown - they'll probably take about a day each - you should be able to survive anything. Oh, and you might just be the one who finds the alien...
