But the USB port on port replicator is not USB 2.0.

If you have the bigger port replicator, maibe it is worth to try those small
cheap USB mini-hubs. I use one to duplicate the single USB port of my L110
replicator. I've seen nice mini-hubs up to 4 ports with no power supply
requirement. The bigger ones require power supply.

Subject: Help with L100 Cardbus USB 2.0 card

Hi all,

I noticed in a recent post that the L100CT can handle Cardbus? I
recently tried a Chronos PCMCIA Cardbus card with two USB 2.0 slots on
the side (these would be perfect to run my external CD re-writer and
connect my digital camera!) However, the card did not seem to be
detected on my L100CT running Win98 SE at all! However, when I inserted
it into my Sony Vaio PIII 700Mhz laptop (running XP (Xtra Problems...)
Professional) it picked it up right away and asked for the device
driver. In the Win98 Libretto it did not even register that a card was
inserted.

Has anybody got any ideas? Is it the Lib 100, or is it a Win 98
problem? I would love any help since I would love to use this card, it
is dirt cheap at R420 (South African Rand to dollar it is about 40
dollars or so for the card).

Thanks for any help.

Regards,

Dion
