You're right about FAT32. However, after you installed XP, you can convert
that FAT32 partition into NTFS very easily.

Seems to be correct.

One more detail missing?
To do this, I'd need to put the install files on FAT32 partitions, rather
than NTFS so I can see them under 98 (which I can boot) rather than XP
(which I can't boot)
