Hello Dion,
Concerning the software I use Mappoint 2002 Europe (I live in Belgium) with the problem of the refresh rate that is way too low (i refresh every 10 secs I think) to allow you an efficient use in a city. There is an extraordinary add-in though that allows you to change the refresh rate to even 1 sec if you want. There are other interesting functionalities also like route re-calculation. The best thing to do is to have a look at the author's website. Another good thing is that the price to register the add-in is very modest. The add-in can only be used with Mappoint (North America or Europe).

My tests showed that the Lybby's CPU is a bit too slow to handle Mappoint with AGPS under W2000 or XP. I had to reconfigure it with a dual boot like yours. My configuration is 266 Mhz, 66 Mb mem, 30GB HDD and Mappoint + AGPS is the best solution I found. Streets and trips with a refresh rate of 1 per 15 secs is simply not usable for me. I have been travelling in Paris and I was able to find my way probably much better than many French there :).
I will go to work to Atlanta during 1 year very soon and I am looking for the Mappoint North America edition because I would not like to go there without my Libby and its GPS stuff.
