I'm not sure that the higher transfer rate of USB2 is useful for digicam 
downloads, at least my Olympus C-4000.  It uses USB1.1.  As far as USB2 
transfer speed on the L100CT, I don't have any USB2 appliances so can't test 
yet.

I paid $20 on ebay for an "open box" Belkin 2-port.  Works very well so far.  
With the expanding number of USB and USB2 accessories and adapters (like the 
USB/serial cable), the card seems like a worthwhile Libretto add-on.
