If set up correctly the hibernation feature is great on the Librettos and
until XP came along it was the only laptop I could successfully hibernate.
My Compaq Armada under Win2k used to resume with all kinds of errors...
Libby always worked fine.

Not sure if you can disable it completely, I think I read somewhere that if
you suspend the libby and it's power runs too low it will automatically
hibernate. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong :)

Well, you could create one large FAT32 partition, it depends what OS you're
planning to install. I used to dual boot Win98 with NT4 so I had to have a
2Gb FAT partition for booting NT4, I guess a single FAT32 partition would be
ok. YMMV.

Thanks, it worked well for me on my previous Lib50Ct with a 20Gb and my
100CT with a 40Gb.
