Highly recommended DVD player if you want the ability to play DIVX/MPEG-4
encoded files (eg. internet movies). Works well for $70, available at Walmart,
jandr.com, target, and other stores in the USA.

Hey David,

At first I missed you're putting "Off-topic" in the message subject field of this post, and thought somehow miraculously Philips had put together something that would play DVDs on our Librettos! That's not been done at this point, has it? I've been under the impression that even the 110's at 233MHz, or clocked to 266MHz, don't have the umph required for DVD playback... yes?

I've gotten highly compressed MPEG videos (I think just MPEG-1) to play on my 70CT, and maybe on the 50CT, but my memory of the 50CT performance there is fuzzy.

What sorts of things are available on the net in the DIVX/MPEG-4 format that are worth transferring to a home multimedia playback system?

Matt
