Super glue may not be good enough - more like glue and a splint to
bridge the break. Or, better still, someone who has a spare frame they
would be willing to sell me.

*sounds* like something that some superglue and a bit of time may fix
but then again I'm having a little trouble visualizing the damage from
your description ...
