Ya know... I'm a little surprised no one corrected me when I asked about
networking with USB 2.0 a while back, and later decided that it wouldn't
work to speed things up on the underpowered Libbys.  

But I forgot what Raymond pointed out.  That USB 2.0 cards have controllers
in them that aren't dependent on the system's CPU power.  And that indeed a
USB 2.0 card in a Lib can be connected to another system's USB 2.0 port via
those special USB 2.0 network cables, and network transfer rates are then
>much< faster than via the standard ethernet network connection.

I now have USB 2.0 cards in the desktop and Lib, all I need is that $15-$20
USB 2.0 network cable, and transferring and backing up MP3s between the two
will go at about 4x the old ethernet speed from the experiments I've done.
