Since you have the touch screen L50M, I don't believe they have anything but
Windows 95/98 drivers available.

In any case, with Windows 95/98/DOS, you will need to run EZ-Drive or a similar
drive manager program (safe, works).

Assuming it has the same hibernation problem with >8GB HDs as the other
Librettos (L20-L110), then you'll need to create one primary, active bootable
OS partition from the beginning of the HD up to just before the 8GB boundary
(where the Libretto typically saves its hibernation data). You will leave a
few hundred MBs of free, unpartitioned space, then create additional partitions
(or at least one logical partition) from that point onward to the end of the
hard drive.

Once this is installed, install the OS + drivers + applications.

Many such posts have been made in the past and you can see them in the Libretto
Mailing List Archives.

Here, you can also find out ways to test and determine the exact location of
the Libretto Hibernation data placed on the drive so you can partition around
that.

(In my own case, I simply used one of many free programs to zero out the hard
drive's free space after installing the OS under one big partition that covered
the entire HD size. Next, type something unique into Notepad "This is my
Libretto", hibernate to disk, resume, and use Winhex or any other disk editing
program to search for the location of this text string. Once you've found it,
you will see that the surrounding data area is not zero (ie. hibernation data),
so look forward and backwards until you find the boundaries of this hibernation
area, then partition around it with a few megabytes of extra padding on both
ends to ensure you don't accidentally overwrite your data in the future.)
