If you don't run X, anything will be pretty darn fast. Fedora and X runs
pretty well on 64mb, but I'd say that anything would ultimately work for
you...you just have to strip it down a bit to run in less memory. Try
running a barebones window manager, for starters.
What was the shell Niel recommended as being a slim, resource-friendly X
shell to run in the version of Mandrake he got running on a 50CT... 'iceman'
as I recall.
