I use the u100 to listen to mp3s while I bike. Its battery life has improved greatly since winter has hit minnesota, usa. I now get around 5-6 hours running K and mplay-madplay or atrun. during the summer under 4. The battery is being heated while the cpu is running and stays kool while the abient temp is below 40. otherwise runs too warm. j.
