eg. today, this brings up a list at ebay.com that has up to 8GB 2.5" flash
drive models selling for $40-$600 depending on capacity.

The 4GB at $250ish is the best buy, and can easily run Windows 98/Windows 2000
on a Libretto + applications w/o running out of space.  

Various vendors and various such drives go on sale on ebay all the time, and
you can often find amazing bargains for a solid state flash hard drive on eBay!

(Had one running here - made a Thinkpad 100% silent in operation!)
