Interesting. I'm working on a product which builds on libssh2, and depending
on how that plays out, there could be mutual benefits in helping out with
libssh2... at the moment I'm swamped in work however. :-P
I completely understand. But discussing and toying around with designing such
an alternative idea could be a first step and something we can do slowly and
together and just spend all the time we need to do it. Once we agree somewhat
on a decent API we can all just add pieces of code to the library to build the
code to implement the interface.
