Right. Sadly, MSDN no longer even references things that old; from reading it, you'd think that *nothing* existed prior to w2k, and *every* current entry point was brand new with that version. SetErrorMode: Minimum Supported Client: Windows 2000 Professional So it's no longer even possible to discover exactly HOW old an API is, if it predates w2k. At least, not via MSDN. -- Chuck
