Oh dear. This should be CONFIG_SHELL=/bin/ash lt_ECHO='printf %s\n' /bin/ash configure [...] instead. (While we're at it, I found another mostly harmless bug in libtool exposed by ash which makes a couple of testsuite tests fail. I'm pretty sure to remember that the shell selection algorithm chooses bash over /bin/sh. It does so on other systems.
