I'm using rTorrent 0.8.0/0.12.0 on an Ubuntu server. I'd like to use a proxy server for torrent traffic that requires authentication. I've looked around but can't figure out how to put the authentication information into rtorrent.rc. I've tried: proxy_address = username:[email protected]:8080, but that didn't work (rtorrent: Error in option file: ~/.rtorrent.rc:3: Could not set proxy address: Name or service not known.)
Can anyone please point me in the right direction on this? Thanks Geoff
