Note that I had to revert a commit in github, as the initial 1.0.14 release broke the Windows backend, that had been updated to bMaxPower.
If you have been unlucky to pull from git within the last couple of hours, expect git to be unhappy. Also, since now of usbutils patches proposals I saw appeared to follow the guidelines we advocated, it has become fairly clear that *nobody* is reading the NEWS file on releases. Considering that it is very likely (and logical) that they expect changes to be featured in the Changelog, I have now swapped NEWS and ChangeLog.
