Microchip MCP2200 is probably a pre-programmed USB PIC18.
It is an HID+CDC-ACM USB composite device using IAD. So I
think the OP will not be able to change the firmware.

Google finds this "lsusb -vvv" output but the HID driver
was not detached to show the HID report descriptors.
