The bug seems to be specific to Raspberry Pi so I think
we can not help you much.

As per the above post, "the host-mode for the Synopsys DesignWare
HS OTG controller is used used in host mode in the Raspberry Pi via
a very ugly out-of-tree driver, so merging this would be a step toward
bringing that platform into mainline".

You may want to follow that post to see if the new driver (hopefully
be integrated into main line kernel in a few iterations) can help
to sort out the issues.
