The one Travis uses has the full-fledged Serial Connection. http://www.cutedigi.com/breakout-board/ezusb-cy7c68014a-usb-2-0-development-board.html I am okay with the US$50 price as well but the shipment charge to Singapore is too high. I will probably ask friends to get one similar board from China. I can choose to modify my current boards as well but I am a bit lazy now... I agree that the FX2LP can be chosen as one of the preferred standard testing device.
