So as promised I've been working on this today, but I ended up spending most of my time on sorting through a number of the open issues in: https://github.com/libusbx/libusbx/issues?sort=created&state=open I especially spend a lot of time and energy on trying to figure out what is going on here: https://github.com/libusbx/libusbx/issues/25 I believe I've gotten down to the root cause, and it is a hidapi problem rather then a libusb one, see my comment in the tracker for details. The open issue count is down from 54 to 44 now, which is good. But I've used up both my time and energy for today, so I'll continue with following the next steps of: https://github.com/libusbx/libusbx/wiki/Maintainers%27-Corner#wiki-RCRelease_work Tomorrow and hopefully spin a tarbal tomorrow.
