I believe this is the case.

You can try out libusbK driver (you can use Zadig to install it) to see if
the result is different than using WinUSB. libusbx supports WinUSB,
libusbK.sys and libusb0.sys. The support of WinUSB is the most
tested. But the support of libusbK.sys (through libusbK.dll) is pretty
good as well based on my testing. The support of libusb0.sys still
has quite some issues.
