There would also be the Windows/Android logging fixes proposed by Toby, but I'm supposed to review that, and I'm still not sure when I'll get a chance to properly do it, i.e. don't let that hold you back. > I see nothing wrong with adding an XCode project. That's something I was planning to do (and I'm glad to see I won't have to!). > I will keep this > branch in sync with the master. When do we want to make the official > switch? 1.0.18? There will be some more Windows related changes related to the libusbx -> libusb switchback (solution files need to be renamed), and I think it would be better if we did the switch to libusb by the time we have a libusb github repo ready, so I'd prefer not to try to rush it for the 1.0.17 release. Else we're going to have pieces that direct people to the libusbx-devel mailing list, others to libusb-devel, same for the websites, and it will be more confusing for our users than anything else. Some people are already complaining that we provided too few bits and piece of information about the merge, so I'd prefer if all the merge steps occurred within a single release, where we can point to all the finalized pieces at once. Else we may get more complaints. By the way, since my understanding is that you were the one who modified the libusb.org downloads, can you please add a note about the merging as requested by https://github.com/libusbx/libusbx/issues/123#issuecomment-21789151?
